Siemens offers several Symbia nuclear medicine camera configurations to meet the needs of an array of nuclear medicine facilities.
The Siemens Symbia E Single-Head nuclear camera has the smallest footprint of the four e.cam configurations. Best for general purpose imaging, the Single-Head nuclear camera features an open gantry and the BICORE™ rapid insert collimator system.
Symbia E Dual-Head Gamma Camera
The Siemens Symbia E Dual-Head Variable Angle nuclear camera enables 180°, 90° and 76° detector positions allowing the system to optimize sensitivity and throughput for general purpose, cardiology, oncology and neurology studies. The systems full range of motion allows for caudal and cephalic detector tilt.
The Siemens Symbia S Dual-Head Gamma Camera carries the same features as the Symbia E Dual-Head Variable Angle camera, but also incoporates a number of additional features, including: an automated collimator exchanger; integrated QC source holders; integrated ECG option; lower patient table access and can be easily upgraded in the future with the TruePoint SPECT-CT option.
Symbia T (T2, T6, T16) SPECT-CT System
The Siemens Symbia T SPECT-CT System combines a dual-head variable-angle gamma camera with a CT scanner for rapid attenuation correction (T or T2 = 2 slice), advanced oncology and neurology imaging (T6 = 6 slice) or excellent oncology coverage (T16 = 16 slice). This system carries the same features as the Symbia S, but already incorporates the TruePoint SPECT-CT option.
